Mi chiamo Maddalena Binda, sono una studentessa di lingue orientali all'Università di Venezia, ma in realtà vengo da Oggiono, un piccolo paesino vicino al lago di Como. Alle superiori ho passato 6 mesi in Australia e ora mi trovo in Cina per un semestre. Quello che ho imparato da queste esperienze è che qualsiasi viaggio si faccia, se non si ha la possibilità di conoscere le persone che vivono in quel posto, non si potrà mai comprendere quella realtà.

My name is Maddalena Binda, I am studying Chinese at Ca' Foscari Universuty, in Venice, but I am actually from Oggiono, a small town near the Lake of Como. When I was at High School I spent 6 months in Australia and now I am in China for a semester. What I have learnt from these experiences is that you can only understand the reality and the culture of the place you visit only if you can meet people that live there.
