I'm a 23-year-old student from America studying in Berlin for the semester and hoping to get quite a bit of traveling in while I'm here! I'm in my Bachelor's, currently studying German and Russian languages and literature. This semester I am also starting Polish.
I love to read, I enjoy taking photos, and I love cycling, though it has been quite a while since I cycled seriously. Other than that I just enjoy spending time with friends, not particularly caring what we do - usually something different each time, whether it's going to a museum, a concert, an orchestra performance, a flea market, and so on.

I'm on Couchsurfing because I received some money from my school to set aside for traveling but not very much, and I really want to make the most of my time here in Europe in between my studies.

I like almost any type of music, though lately I'm very much into Chance the Rapper as far as specific artists go, and in general hip-hop/rap, and a bit of Blues and Soul.

I'm very much into Thrillers when it comes to books and movies - Psychological Thrillers in particular. Right now I'm reading a Crime Thriller "The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest". I also quite enjoy weird indie films, horror films and have been getting more into action films lately. Right now I would say my favorite movie is "Nightcrawler".

I'm currently taking courses in German after only 2.5 years of studying the language, which is a much bigger feat than I thought it would be when I signed up for it.

I would be happy to teach some German, Russian, or Polish (though I am just barely starting Polish, I am still happy to share some interesting words with you!). I can also offer up some interesting stories and tidbits about things like unsolved mysteries, weird/creepy occurrences, etc.!
