我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I've always been fascinated by life in other countries, hence why I studied French and Spanish at university. I discovered Couchsurfing on a 7 month trip around South America, the US and Canada when I was able to stay with some really wonderful hosts. For me, Couchsurfing is such a great way to meet local people and really get under the skin of countries I've never been to before - I'm a total convert to the cause!

Music:
Generally indie/punk/rock but I like a little of everything - I'm a serial festival and gig goer.

Movies:
Again, pretty open-minded. Love comedy movies though so pretty much anything with Steve Carrell, Jim Carrey or Will Ferrell in.

Books:
Currently working through all of Bill Bryson's books for further travel inspiration!

For me, navigating my way around Cuba for three weeks as a solo female traveller was a massive achievement but definitely worth the challenge.

Why my searing wit of course... Ok seriously, well. I'm a pretty enthusiastic cook always on the hunt for enthusiastic eaters - lend me a few pans and I can rustle something tasty up.

I also speak French and Spanish and work as a writer so have any wordy/languagey questions covered. For example, no, 'languagey' is not a word.
