I'm 22 years young, and am studying abroad in the Netherlands for a semester! I come from California, and am in my final semester of my bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. I'm a friendly girl trying to see the world- I love traveling and hope to never stop.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a bunch of everything, but Jason Mraz, Lights, and Tove Lo are at the top of my list. I love reading, and as cliche as it may be, Pride and Prejudice is my favorite book. Movies are everything, and my favorite has always been the musical RENT.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While doing a tour through New Zealand a few years ago, I hiked on and through Franz Joseph glacier. We took a helicopter ride from town to near the top of the glacier, and hiked our way down. It was the most amazing thing I've ever done, because I'd never felt more grounded in my life. One little crack in the ice, and I would've been a goner. Realizing I was touching a glacier that's been there for thousands of years was enough to make you realize how small we really are. I'll never forget that day.

I can teach you how to draw/ sketch, or am always happy to have philosophical conversations about life! I'm also a great vegetarian cook, and would love to share recipes.

With hosts, I can share laughs, smiles, and my stories. I'm a young traveller, but I've never stayed in the same place for more than 3 years and have seen a lot of things. I'm a very positive person that just likes meeting people, making people happy, and seeing the beauty in everywhere I go.
