About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring.

ABOUT ME

I'm 25 years old and had been living in Austin, Texas for the past 7 years up until now. My boyfriend and I had always talked about traveling and realized that there really wasn't anything stopping us so we booked a ticket, packed a backpack, said goodbye to Texas and started a 10 month trip across Europe and Pacific Asia.

Me in a nutshell: open-minded, kind-hearted, easy-going & always willing to try something new.

PHILOSOPHY

Eat well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently, looking to couchsurf and meet new people. I wish I had known about couchsurfing before setting out on our trip so that we could have hosted in Austin. We definitely plan on giving back to the couchsurfing community after our trip.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Brand new to couchsurfing. I'm hoping it will be a great experience and an opportunity to meet friendly locals wherever we travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On a recent hike up Ben Nevis, I had a moment where I was feeling a little defeated by the seemingly never-ending ascent up the mountain. Took a little break and saw an elderly man pass by with his grown up son. It was motivating and inspiring and I suddenly felt embarrassed for feeling a little sorry for myself up until then. When we reached the top, we saw them again and they asked us if we would take a picture of them. It was really moving to know that they were able to have that moment together.
