About Me
Hi! I recently moved the the United States from Australia on a whim, currently living in Brooklyn, NY and working various jobs at bars and restaurants!
If I'm not slogging out a 16 hour shift my life revolves around eating, drinking, seeing bands or going to the soccer.
My favourite place in the world to travel is south-east Asia and my favourite place definitely a small island in Thailand called Koh Tao. (2nd place Boracay, Philippines).
I'm super relaxed and always down for whatever. I take life a day at a time and I highly avoid thinking about the future :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am new to using couchsurfing, over my past 4 years of backpacking I have mainly used hostels so I am excited to try something new and meet some really interesting and unique people. I prefer a locals recommendations over a guidebook any day!
Willing to return the favour to hosts with my loft in Brooklyn :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Punk/rock/emo/hardcore music- anything that squeezes into those broad genres!
My favourite book is Catcher in the Rye and my favourite movie is anything with Jake Gyllenhaal.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed Adam's Peak in Sri Lanka, 7 kilometres of the steepest stairs of my life! The peak is a Buddhist holy site believed to be the footprint of Buddha.
Got up at 4am to start the climb so we were able to see the sunrise. Definitely one of the most challenging and culturally stimulated thing I've done while travelling.
Teach, Learn, Share
Travelling in Asia has taught me to be the most patient carefree person ever. Every few days you find yourself sitting on a bus waiting for it to leave, after the bus has been hours late, dripping in sweat, broken aircon, hungover as hell, no one speaks english, and theres literally nothing you can do except sit and wait for the bus to leave and enjoy the fact that all the locals care less than you do! hahah
What I Can Share with Hosts
A 6 pack of beer, a lesson on the essential Aussie slang but most of all a smile and good banter! :)
