Overview
About Me
I am a second year Psychology Major at Cal Poly SLO. I have grown up throughout California my whole life and absolutely love it. I am definitely a coastal girl, the beach is my happy place. I am a total nerd, I probably spend way too much time doing school related activities. I have always loved to read! I played soccer my entire life and now play club water polo at Cal Poly. But in general I am a very easy going, fun girl that loves new experiences. I like going and doing things on my own which has made it so I have met such amazing people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really want to meet new people, hear their stories and learn their culture! The best way to travel the world is to live life like the locals, and that's what I plan to do. I am a full-time college student, so a budget is definitely on my mind. This makes couch surfing awesome because instead of money you exchange friendship and wisdom, which is much more valuable than any monetary amount.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all types of music but the stuff I play most often is probably 90's, early 2000's alternative. I am also a huge country fan! And I have to say Sia is probably my favorite artist of all time. So as you can see I have a pretty open taste in music.
My favorite book is Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts! Its an amazing novel about the authors life experiences while living in the slums of India. It encompasses ideals about love, spirituality, friendship, war, crime, pretty much anything you could think of.
My favorite movie would have to be the titanic!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived with a host family in a incredibly rural community in Panama for 3 months. It was probably the best experience I have ever had. I loved learning a new language, a new culture and making new lifelong friendships. I really got to learn more about the latin american culture and see how it was to live a life so different from your own. I loved every second of it : )
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a youthful spirit, stories and ideals. I love talking about anything that makes you question how you are living your life. I am a pretty great cook, so I can make us plenty of food :) I am really just open to all new experiences, and I hope my host will join me in some of these adventures.
