Hello! I am a 22-year-old advertising graduate of the University of Minnesota who is passionate about writing, photography, lacrosse (and sports in general), food, and traveling! I am currently living in Sydney Australia and spent half of last year living in Perth! Hoping to make it all around Oz before they make me leave. ;) During my studies at home, I lived abroad in Florence, Italy for a semester and while there had the opportunity to travel to many other countries, and also Couchsurf! I love this app- it allows people to connect from such different backgrounds but in turn share amazing life experiences and outlooks. I like experiencing places beyond the touristy aspects... there’s so much more to a place than the guided tour of x building (not meant to be negative more just my opinion) :)

Movies & TV: I really enjoy all genres of movies (indie to cult classic to rom-com).... a couple favs of mine are Call Me by Your Name, Just Friends, Perks of being a Wallflower, There's Something about Mary. As for TV again I'm all over the board... Peaky Blinders, Sex Education, Bojack Horseman, You, GOT, Black Mirror, Fargo, any documentary (especially true crime) and reality my guilty pleasure!!

Books: I'll admit I'm only now getting back into reading after finishing my education. Love any sort of thriller/mystery novel and a cheesy self-help book to reassure myself I'm not crazy haha. The last book I read is a self-help eating book titled "French Women don't get Fat"- really lovely and detailed account of a woman who changed the way she valued food and shed some pounds... motivational :')

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Went skydiving with my family for my 18th birthday
-Worked for a wedding planner in Florence, Italy
-Spent three days alone exploring Bali without a working phone (sounds lame but I mean today that's quite unusual hahah)
-Snorkeled at Ningaloo Reef in Coral Bay, WA (so beautiful up there!)

What I Can Share with Hosts
