CURRENT MISSION

I am a 24 year old Australian. I love to travel and have chosen to spend my Australia winter in the hot summer sun of America. I have been working at a Summer camp called Camp Louise as an Outdoors Counsellor. My role is to take children camping, rock climbing, on challenge courses, tubing, rafting, hiking etc. As well as run various different outdoors workshops such as slacklining, international cooking, outdoors cooking (ie. cooking things on an open flame fire) and camp fire sing alongs.

I will be finishing up with Summer Camp on the 12th of August and will then be traveling the US until the 10th of September when I fly home from New York.

ABOUT ME

At home I live a very active and outdoors lifestyle. I love yoga, walking, spending time at the beach and playing volleyball and Australian rules football.

I often get itchy feet when I know it's time for me to travel again at which point I plan a trip and away I go.

I've been to many places but still have a lot to see. I've always thought that a locals view point is usually the best and I do tend to avoid a lot of the big tourist areas of places if there is another option.

I like to think of myself as a happy and fun person to be around and I look forward to meeting some new people, sharing some stories and making some memories.

I love sport and keeping fit. I love yoga and would love to become certified in yoga teaching some day.
Travelling is my hobby and my passion. My goal is to have visited every continent by the time I reach the age of 50.
I love to read. I could easily waste away an entire day reading a good book.
I enjoy cooking but not as much as I enjoy eating other peoples cooking. Home cooking is always the best in my opinion.
I love good conversation over a glass of wine and I'm also a bit of a board game nerd. My perfect winters night in would be a boardgame with friends or family, a glass of red and a good meal. (Now this sounds like a dating website bio 😂)

I love all movies! Anything from horror to rom com and everything in between.

I love reading and will read anything that comes with a good recommendation from someone.

I enjoy most types of music but my favourite genre is indie rock.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have travelled a lot in my 24 years and have seen, done and met some incredible people in this time.

Just a few of my many highlights (I refuse to pick just 1) would be biking around the islands of Laos, visiting the temples of Cambodia, seeing a bear in Canada, sleeping in a hammock under the stars in America, sipping cocktails on a beach in Greece, being part of the ANZAC Day dawn service in France, eating paella in Spain, riding a gondola in Italy and many many more.
