About Me

I am a very introverted person who likes to sit quietly in a corner and read a lot of the time, but I also like to hang out with friends and meet new people, though that can be a bit tough(and scary) for me sometimes. I'm not exactly shy but I take a while to warm up to people and I prefer to talk one on one as opposed to a group of people. When in a group I tend to be more quiet and instead listen and observe. But that doesn't mean that I'm not talkative, I AM! I absolutely loathe small talk but when I talk about something I'm passionate about, and when I connect with someone, I can talk for hours. I am vegan and have been for nearly four years now, which is the best decision I've made in my life. My goal in life is to create a life where I don't just work to make ends meet and life for the weekend, but a life where I am excited to go up each morning (even on Mondays) because I love what I do and I am able to live comfortably in one place but where I also get to travel a lot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and simply want to meet other like-minded people. And because when I travel it's nice to hang
out with locals who know the area and can show you around the places that most tourists don't get to see.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In September last year I left Europe for the first time and traveled by myself to New York City to volunteer there.
I worked with an organisation based on the upper west side that organizes trips throughout the US and plans activities in NYC for adults with develomental disabilities.
So basically I got to go on these trips with a group of around 10 participants as one, of three, leaders ( I was also in charge of the budget) and I helped plan activities, take care of the participants and make sure they had a fun trip. It was the single most amazing thing I've done in my life.
