hi i'm 22 and a girl and stuff
i like my dogs and taking them on long walks and learning languages and talking to stangers and empty streets and knowing where the exits are and listening to people talk about shit they're passionate about and questioning my assumptions and connecting the dots and i'm trying to figure out this whole being a person thing and i think this whole humanity business is pretty weird. but cool.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
my roommates have hosted people before. they sang a bunch of folk tunes. we felt really embarrassed about not knowing enough estonian songs. it was great. i love the culture exchange and social aspect. people are awesome.
Music, Movies, and Books
i'm super into music and prose and poetry and art and i love all the stuff i consume, even though maybe i'm not an expert on it or don't understand it on a deep enough level, but who cares as long as it speaks to me on Some level, i really enjoy finding new things to listen to and watch and look at. if it's good, it's good.
esp love post-punk and brian eno and brahms and faulkner and lora mathis
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
haven't stopped breathing so far
Teach, Learn, Share
i could probably share some good songs with you. recommend tv shows. talk about estonian history and culture and language. i love languages, they're endlessly fascinating to me, so expect me to ask a lot of questions about that. i know a lot about a lot of weird topics. i love talking about sociology and psychiatry. i don't know. i'm fun.
What I Can Share with Hosts
mostly a good conversation, because i figure that's what i'd want from a visitor. i can def clean and stuff and bring wine or chocolate or whatever. i don't take up a lot of space and i'm not loud. i mean, i have an obnoxious laugh, but otherwise
