ABOUT ME

Hi!

We are Maddie and Dougal, two keen travellers who are traveling around South East Asia for 4 months!

We are relaxed, laid-back people who think the best way to see the world is by meeting and staying with locals. We love to cook, spend time amongst nature, and share conversations and ideas about life and the world.

Four years ago we moved to Melbourne and have loved every minute, making the most of what's happening around the city. We have both studied Environmental Studies and so have a keen passion for the natural environment - to enjoy and conserve!

We love riding our bicycles and being outside. It's the best way to travel around and soak in your surroundings. Since being Vietnam, we have a new found love for motorcycles, seeing the central highlands in that way has been an amazing experience.

Looking forward to meeting people as we travel around, making long lasting friendships and enjoying the opportunities that couch surfing has to offer!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had the most amazing experiences couch surfing, meeting lifelong friends who I have then hosted back in Australia. It is such a great way to meet local people and experience the country that you're visiting in a very unique way.

We love learning as well as teaching. Since being in Vietnam we have had the pleasure of helping out in English classes, which has been a very rewarding experience, not to mention lots of fun!!
