ABOUT ME

Well. I graduated high school and couldn't wait to go do something with my life. (since studying and going to prom didn't really "fill my cup"). I love to travel, to get lost, to meet new people and to live in a culture long enough to understand it. I have been living in Italy and Germany for over a year with Italian and German families. I live with the families like a member of the family and speak english with them. It's normally known as "Au Pairing" but most people just call it babysitting. I have had an awesome experience with the different families I have lived with. I really love the fact that I can call different parts of the world "home".

PHILOSOPHY

I want to see as much of the world as possible before I have to settle into school and a real job. I want to be able to look back on my life and say I really lived it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed twice and both times were completely different but I really enjoyed it. The first time was in The Netherlands with a guy who went out of his way to show my friends and I different parts of his culture. The second time was in Brussels and the woman was very sweet and lent us her bikes to use and drew us a very detailed map of everything to see.

Interests

I am always interested in people. Especially people who are not Americans since I have lived with Americans my whole life. (which means way too long)

Music, Movies, and Books

Love to read any type of book but I only like to watch movies with satisfying endings. I can be talked into liking any type of music EXCEPT country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a NOLS sea kayaking course in Baha Mexico two years ago and it was and still is my best experience thus far. We lived outside on the beach for some months with out any connection to society.
