I love adventure! I have backpacked, surfed, and rafted through Costa Rica, au paired in Germany, independently traveled Europe, camped and hiked in the Rocky Mountains, and conquered many 4,000 footers in the White Mountains. I am always trying to find the most beautiful (and occasionally remote) places to travel to and explore.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's the best way to experience an unfamiliar area. I love finding the hidden gems of the places I travel to.

Music is a big part of my life and I have an open mind when it comes to any and all genres. I love live music- both large festivals and local shows.

I'm always up for a good movie! I enjoy staying in as much (if not more) than I like going out.

I love reading and discussing books. I particularly enjoy non-fiction, short stories, and poetry. Favorite books: Wild, Scar Tissue, and My Stroke of Insight, The Power of Now, and The Shallows (to name very few). Also a huge Harry Potter fan

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first day I became scuba certified I did a night dive in a shipwreck off of Panama

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would be glad to help out with any household chores, cooking, or whatever else I can lend a hand with! I really enjoy food and I love sharing meals with a nice drink and good conversation.
