Hello, I’m Madeline!
I currently live in Orlando, Florida and really just love to get out of here and travel as much as possible. Hence how I ended up here a handful of years ago, and I have only had the best of experiences and met wonderful people so far.

I am Mortician which has been…interesting (to say the least), the last couple years— realistically it’s been extremely and overwhelming draining to an extreme I had yet to experience. My exposure working within the funeral home has changed my perception on life and living as a whole. Without using every cliche in the book; I’ll just use one! Life is unpredictable and not guaranteed. For me, seeing it everyday vs hearing it has deeply instilled the reality and magnitude of that. I come from a very religious and cult minded upbringing, my job has helped heal a lot of those deep seeded fundamentals allowing me to be a more intentional and open to the differences among overall human experience. While I’m deeply passionate about the work I do and the support I get to provide the community I live in, it has also entirely consumes me and exposes me to unacceptable norms within the industry ‘politics’ and some of the most horrific and heartbreaking realities and moments for people and their people; which inevitably takes a large toll on me.

When I’m not working, I’m traveling, making music and art, laying in bed, snuggling with my fav pug, for the occasional binge of a good show/movie, building or fixing things, or really any spontaneous thing that comes up. My love language is quality time, and that time could be spent doing absolutely nothing but sharing space and time with someone or doing something extreme and impossibly forgettable. There are very rare times I’m not onboard to do anything, everything, or nothing with someone or even on my own.

My natural instinct is to turn most situations in to some sort of joke fueled comedy bit full of sarcasm, that goes on for longer than realistically any of us want. I have really turned my chronic self inflicted embarrassment into a realllll fun joke for most!
