Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I couchsurfed while traveling across the southwest in 2013. Currently a host, soon to travel again.
Discovered CS during a college semester in Spain. Then I met great people in Madison who stayed with my friends. I then stayed with two wonderful hosts in Utah. I now have a house with space to spare and look forward to hosting.
I enjoy the outdoors, books, cooking good food (and eating), making art and music, alone or with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
folk, funk, bluegrass, indie rock, jazz, soul, raggae, jam bands... no favorite, but love lots of music!
Most recently I've enjoyed books by Chimamanda Adichie, Edward Abbey and John Steinbeck.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Led an all-women 3 week canoe expedition in the Boundary Waters.
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy learning languages and would love to practice/learn new things from hosts and guests. I like cooking good food and like to both share knowledge and learn from others. I am slowly learning to play guitar and mandolin.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Coffee, tea, beer, stories, a great house and lots of land. Bikes, skis, sleds, or even a canoe, depending on the season.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, Canada, Greece, Italy, Mexico, Morocco, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
Spain, United States
