ABOUT ME

I'm on exchange this year in Brisbane, studying English Literature and Aboriginal Studies at UQ. I'm really hoping to see as much of the country and the city as I can, and am really looking forward to meeting new people and new friends along the way! So whether you're planning a trip, visiting Brisbane or someone local just wanting to grab a drink or do something in the city, I'd love to tag along and venture out together :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced was on a family trip to Boston in the US, where we went whale watching near Cape Cod and ended up right in the middle of nearly forty feeding humpback whales. We were literally surrounded by them- they could be seen in every direction- and had them swimming right up beside the boat. Whales are my favourite animals, and prior to that experience I had never actually seen one in the wild, so it was beyond amazing to see that many, and have them be that close... The woman running the tour said that on most outings, they are lucky to see three or four whales during a two hour time period, so I really felt like I had been blessed with a gift to have been able to experience that the way we did.
