About Me
Like most people on here with a lust for life, traveling, culture, I also choose to spend my time with people that enrich my life while learning to be a better version of myself. I enjoy reading, gardening, exploring the outdoors, dancing, music, painting (not actively doing at this time) and motorcycles.
My first travel experience was when I closed my eyes, spun a globe and bought a ticket where my finger landed, Costa Rica.
I chose to keep my travel plans completely open and had my first unofficial Couchsurfing experience meeting a local right off the bus. He took me to his Aunts house where I stayed for 3 days.
After this, I was hooked on traveling and continued this type of experience throughout other Countries.
A little over a year ago, Ive made the decision to become Vegan. This has been a wonderful, guilt free experience and don’t see myself ever going back. .
Im pretty active so if you’re interested in adventure, we can explore if our schedules align. I enjoy nature, hiking, paddle boarding and if you’re staying with me we can do all of the above. I can give you suggestions for local dining and entertainment and if you’re up to it, we can go out dancing or to karaoke.
If you’re interested in sustainable construction, design, CAD, or architecture Id love to chat. We can have a good time together exploring. I’m pretty easy going and can enjoy sitting around talking Vs going out. I enjoy meeting people and getting a glimpse into their way of life. I’m currently trying to find clarity and am seeking knowledge on something greater than ourselves.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had my first “official” couch surfing experience this past year with a long time member and the experience was wonderful. I could see how beneficial Couchsurfing can be for both parties so it encouraged me to join the community. I’d like to use this app to experience meeting new people, exploring cities or even countries while developing lasting friendships.
Interests
So many to list: I’ll have add to this as I go.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I’m interested and open to all music. I love sharing playlists, listening to music throughout the day and Shazaming (do people still use this? Lol) new music in passing.
Movies: I enjoy documentaries, but when I want to turn off mentally, I’ll watch sci-fi, action, physiological thrillers and comedies but in general I’d prefer to keep the tv off.
Books: Mostly into non-fiction, educational or mindful awareness/self growth. Occasionally I’ll do a fictional book if it is suggested.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Took a chance on changing my career path and quit my corporate job without having a job lined up. That decision has led me to live my life long goal of pursuing my own business and it’s been a blessing.
Experience wise: I’ve also hitchhiked on a motorcycle in Thailand, slept in a hammock on the beach in Costa Rica, rented a paddle board to swim with Manatees, rented a motorcycle and went Castle hoping in Germany, bridge jumped in Montana, met a local in Cuba and developed a friendship where we left on a two week experience through out his country together. I’ve jumped off cliffs into waterfalls in Hawaii, decided to randomly dress up like He-Man and entered a costume contest at a professional baseball game then won Comic Con passes.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m a Jack of many trades and master of none.
(सभी व्यवसायों का जैक लेकिन किसी का भी मास्टर नहीं )
I’ll share with you my knowledge and experiences and If you need help with your motorcycle, let me know. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can help you with projects, cook a meal, explore areas of the town you may not have experienced yet or just have good conversations. I can share travel experiences, ideas on construction and give you some ideas if you were considering doing a remodel. Do you like motorcycles? I can drive us safely.
