About Me

ABOUT ME

Thus far in my life, I think I can fairly say traveling has been my biggest passion. I've spent nine of the last 18 years of my life abroad, but have been here in NOLA for about a year and a half. This might be my favorite city ever. There is always something fun going on and I try my best to soak it all in. I love playing tour guide and exploring.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything works out in the end.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only hosted a couple of people from this website, but from years of backpacking around the world, I most certainly have hosted many a friend I've met on the road when they've popped into town. I love showing people around and hosting gives me an excuse to do the touristy stuff that I would feel funny doing on my own haha.

Music, Movies, and Books

Any movie with Will Ferrell is great. I have a huge movie collection ranging from Amalie to Zoolander. I like a wide rang of music and often get complemented for my good taste in all things music haha. Im not a big book reader, but I do read newspapers and magazines articles about world events and scientific studies regularly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Honestly, too many to count, and most of them are because I've been lucky enough to travel a lot. Needless to say, I have lots of good stories (well, I think they're good).

Teach, Learn, Share

This an article about traveling I wrote for a blog me and my friends have. It sums up what I've learned from traveling and why I think other people should do it.
