Overview
About Me
I'm Chao, a native Beijinger. People call me Brother Chao. I have a wide range of interests, including outdoor activities, photography, music, travel, yoga, Indian culture, ethnic culture, ancient architecture and history.
I first used the couch-surfing community back in 2013 and stayed with hosts in Xinjiang through friends' recommendations. Now I have a stable place and a relaxed schedule, so I’m happy to offer a couch to travelers, backpackers and fellow couch-surfers.
Sofa/bedding setup:
Two-bedroom, one-living room apartment with a very spacious living room.
I have one bed in the master bedroom (for myself),
one sofa bed in the second bedroom (for guests),
and a large carpet in the living room.
I also have a tent: it’s set up on the carpet in winter, and removed in summer to use the carpet as normal.
First, please introduce yourself in detail.
If you have postcards, small souvenirs from places you’ve traveled, or stories to share, we can exchange them.
You can also bring 10 folk songs you really like that I don’t have here,
some used books from your collection,
or a few paper maps of your local area — I love collecting maps.
If you don’t have any of these, that’s totally fine.
You can help with cleaning, housework, or cooking instead.
I hope you can treat my home like your own home,
not just a temporary stop or transit place.
