I am not a rapist and will never be. I am 100% legit and I am very much a female living in Delhi who is 19 years old. This is a disclaimer, I will be hosting only foreign nationals ( Not Indians) because the entire purpose of me being on Couch Surfing is to redeem the way my country looks to the rest of the world. Also, I'd have to specify.... I will be hosting only female guests because my parents aren't feeling to great about this whole idea, I'll just make it a bit more comfortable for them. I live in a flat with two room mates from Southern India, so expect your experience to be a little multi-cultural :)

Food is life and will always be. I've been living in the capital for about two years now and honestly, I just feel Delhi hasn't been given a lot of travel justice, I plan on fixing that. Also, some people say I watch tooo much T.V but I have to differ.

Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Empire ,Orange ifs the New Black, Modern Family, New Girl and pretty much anything Nigella Lawson is important for....you know, stuff.

I study in one of the best colleges in the country and have actually spent a good amount of time explaining to people why I am not a typical Indian stereotype even thought there's nothing not-cliche about me. Come home and I promise to give you a warm bed, good food and great company. I'm Indian, after all.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I read off track planet's travel guide for the young, sexy and broke. I highly recommend it to anybody who really wants to travel but is just afraid of all the complications that come with you know, hostels and visas...all that jazz. So, as a result I have decided on travelling the world sometime soon and I would really like to host multinational travelers just so, I get to know a little more about the word we've all grown to love.

Interests

I adore theater, arts, Indie music, Television, TED talks and sims the game. I bake like a pro but sadly, I do not own an oven in my Delhi House, so you can forget about waking up to the smell of cinnamon rolls and baked eggs. Instead, we live pretty close to this amazing Paratha place and I will be glad to take you there if you promise me to feed you until infinity :)

I am also quite the foodie and have the quite the reputation for knowing some the best and CHEAPEST eats in Delhi, I will give you a personal tour of all these places gladly.

I've been binge watching Breaking Bad but I'd have to say when I get time between I've always loved watching anything Tarantino, Scorcese, Spielberg, Hitchcock and Stephen Hawking will always have a special place in my hard drive :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's a tie between, teaching kids at an underprivileged elementary school without knowing the language myself and probably, staining the back of a camel with blood :)

Everything there is to love about my country and the fact that we, Indians are pretty darn awesome. I'd also love to learn about your county as well :)

If you plan on staying with me, you have to understand I will not leave you alone. I will be helping you make an itinerary and gladly take you around the city, but I will bugger off if requested to. It's just that, there's a lot to see and do here :)
