I am a student/traveler with little funds and a preference for meeting new people and locals and sharing experiences rather than staying in hotels and simply being a tourist. My friend Sophie and I are road tripping back home to Massachusetts at the end of August and would love to share the experience with people along the way.

One time I swam in the North Sea at three in the morning where the plankton turned the water neon.

I used to work for a volunteer program that handled natural disasters. I spent a few months tearing down houses that were completely ruined from floods with rivers running straight through them and mold from floor to ceiling. (And got to use a baseball bat to take down a house once!)

Not amazing but always interesting... I am (usually) too poor to pay for a haircut so I let my friends (and just about anybody) cut my hair. I've only been hurt once in the process. One time I ended up bald with my scalp dyed pink.

I study environmental design and am always interested in talking about social design, architecture, or city planning. I'm into plant-based nutrition if you want to learn how to enjoy plants and cook great green things.
