ABOUT ME

I'm a dork, :p I love to have fun and to dance. My roommates are always laughing at me because I dance around in the living room all the time. I have dreams of traveling the world and advocating for deaf people in 3rd world countries. I'm pretty much up for anything that comes my way and always love new experiences.

Interests

I am a deaf studies major at California State University, Northridge, I love going to different events that advocate for deaf people and promote deaf culture. I am also an outdoor enthusiast, I love doing various outdoor activities such as backpacking, hiking, and rock climbing, to name a few. I also love outdoor cooking, and am a strong advocate for more than Mountain House and oatmeal in backcountry. I am also a firm believer in 7-8 hours of sleep (although that doesn't always happen)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This year I went to the Grand Canyon and although it was an amazing experience there is one moment in particular that stands out to me; When I was there I hiked with my group out to a point called "Ooh Aah Point" when you get to it you can sit on a rock at the head of a cliff face with the canyon all around you. It was one of the most beautiful things that I had ever seen, while I was sitting there eating my lunch I was completely awestruck my the sheer awesomeness of the canyon.
