Overview
About Me
We have lived in Nashville for nearly 15 years and love this community. We have 3 children, 2 dogs, and a cat so our home is active to say the least. We are both researchers (in chemistry and education) and we love to travel, but more than anything we are best friends who are so excited to have a home to share with folks who want/need it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We are excited to be sharing our home in Nashville. We have also committed to keep each other adventurous and couchsurfing makes that commitment easier to keep. We have loved hosting and being hosted in the past and hope to open our home again now.
I have hosted a number of CSers off the books in the form of some amazing friends who happen to also be surfers. Each one of them has raved about Couch Surfing and the amazing people you meet and places you travel. We also used CS to travel in England.
Interests
We spend most of our time and enegry enjoying our children, but we are both ridiculously nerdy for math/science, traveling, playing any kind of game (from board games to soccer), and reading a good novel. Our favorite outings are to a library, a good restaurant, or to belly up to a favorite bar to drink bourbon and diets while watching soccer. But more than anything in the world, we love exploring, cooking, relaxing, playing, talking, learning, loving each other and with our family and friends.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Madison was living in Ghana when Matt flew over on the day after his graduation from university to propose to her on the rooftop of her apartment with a kettle corn twisty tie (fashioned into an engagement ring). It was never so easy to say "yes" to anything in her whole life.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teaching chemistry and math is literally our job and we'd love to teach it to anyone who wants to hear it. Also, matt can fix anything (from a car to a computer) like a boss and Madison can cook come mean meals, breads and granola.
Learning about you and anything you'd like to share with us would just be the best.
We are so excited to share a home, some interesting stories, cheesy jokes, good food and a great town with you.
