ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Madli, a calm person who can sometimes be rather quiet but also very talkative at times. I really enjoy having interesting conversations with people about all kinds of topics. To mention a few, I'm into languages, music, anthropology, history, archaeology, dancing, aerial acrobatics, science fiction, sarcastic humour, travelling, and people, very widely spoken. And new experiences, having fun, discovering new places etc obviously.

I'm currently trying out a multilocal lifestyle and balancing between Vienna and Estonia, I can gladly share my experiences if you're interested.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had some very nice surfing experiences in Milan, Antwerpen and Amsterdam in 2010 when I first discovered couchsurfing (although you can't see any of these experiences on my profile because we made a mutual profile with a friend just for the one long trip around Western Europe).
September 2014 brought new great people and experiences in Berlin.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love different kinds of music - various styles of rock, jazz-funk-rnb-hiphop fusions, musicals, also classical, folk, flamenco or whatever I find beautiful or fascinating. Not so much into electronic music in general but there are exceptions. I sing, play the celtic harp, and recently got myself a tenor saxophone (but we're just getting acquainted).

Among my favourite authors are Terry Pratchett, Roger Zelazny, Anton Chekhov, Agatha Christie and some Estonian ones you probably don't know. In general I enjoy sci-fi, fantasy, historical and criminal novels, but not only.

I enjoy watching different kinds of movies but I am not a very big movie freak and don't really have a favourite director or so. Life of Brian, Train de vie, Cabaret, Amélie etc; French comedies, musicals, ...

At least I can share the way I see the world and my experiences, and I'm sure we could find something else too :) (languages, music, I have some nice vegetarian recipes)
