I enjoy small pleasures of life : the smell of a warm croissant, having good meal with friends, having a fit of the giggles, I love the sound of waves and the smell of iodine, the wind, meeting new people, reading in the sun, riding a bike in the woods, partying until dawn ...
So many good times which make life pleasant and surprising. I don't want me to get into a rut. I try to make my daily life more attractive everyday changing small details which make the difference.

My philosophy : " So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more dangerous to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hosting, surfing and participating to CS events in my own town or anywhere i'm travelling to.

I started hosted when I was 18 with my flatmate Joffrey (http://www.couchsurfing.org/people/jeylem/). I first hosted a lot before been hosted. I mostly surfed in Croatia and Australia. When I was travelling, I had my best memories with people I met via couchsurfing, especially the travel mates I found thanks to CS in forums.

Interests

I'm a book publisher, so guess what ?... I love books, especially photography books.
I wish I travelled all the time. If I cannot leave France, I travel through books and movies. As often as I can I go to the beach (for surfing or sailing) or to the mountain (rafting, canyoning, climbing, hiking...).

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm kind of a movie buff... I love very different things, from Tarantino to Kubric or Dupontel.

I don't espacially love a kind of music. Hip hop, Jazz, Salsa, Electro... : music I love depends on the mood ! Best concert i've ever been : Rodrigo & Gabriela.

I'd love to learn arabic language, cook world food, play guitar & kitesurfing... I also would like to learn how to cook GOOD american pancakes, because here in France, we just know how to cook "crêpes"...
I'm quite fond of making tarts and cakes =) I can learn you some secret receipes of mine ;) or help you to improve your french.
