About Me
Hi everyone! I'm a 20 years old and from Germany loving to travel and explore the world!
I grew up in a small town in the north of Germany with my family of 6 and our cat. Through my family I developed an early interest in different cultures, countries and opinions. I am very open minded and a big fan of cultural exchange. Therefore I do not by any means have to agree with someone to value them and their opinion. I'm laid back and sometimes like to keep to myself but also like to socialize. I sometimes can be shy in the beginning, but don't let that put you off, since I open up very quickly.:) When I was 16 I spend a year in the US which has shaped me in many ways. I learned to value intercultural connections and different points of view. After completing high school in Germany, I now want to get out into the world again. I want to keep on traveling as much as I can and also moved to Bavaria to study Philosophy and Economics.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think that couchsurfing is the best way to discover not only the place I travel to, but also its people and culture.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC: It depends on the mood. I basically listen to everything from folk rock over hip hop, EDM and pop to classical music and everything inbetween. I also play piano and love to get caught up in playing and making my own music.
Similar with movies and books. No specific genre. Although I must say that nothing goes over the Harry Potter books!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've done a few beautiful/adventorus things such as mountain climbing, canyoning and cliff jumping in Spain, snorkeling in Croatia, wild water rafting in Oregon (USA), steering a sporting aeroplane and there are hopefully more things to come.
Nevertheless, most of my amazing experiences include new connections to people. One of my dearest experience was meeting two travelers from the US in the airport, while waiting for a 5 hour delayed flight. I have never met them before and after those 5 hours I knew so much about them and we had really inspiring conversations. That was three years ago and we still talk every then and now. It is my goal to connect with more people like I did with them.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am very eager to learn as much as possible. If there are things that you want to teach me whether it is about your country and your culture, experiences you have made, an instrument you play, cooking a typical dish of your home country etc, I will be very open minded to learn new things.
I can share what I know about the German and the American culture, information and tips on the places that I have travelled to. I can teach you English, German and how to play the piano.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to help out where help is needed.
I can also share my culture and experiences with you and German treats are included as well :)
I am very enthusiastic about learning about the place you live and your culture. Ideally, I would like to share my time with you and not only use your hospitality. Whether it is a day trip, a stroll through your city, cooking together or going out for a pint or two, I am open for anything you would like to do or show me. If you are busy working etc., I of course won't have a problem to keep to myself and I won't cause any inconveniences.
