About Me

"Hey this guy gets it" -Me, whenever i see someone sleeping

I've been thinking of using Couchsurfers for over two years now and I've finally gathered the courage to actually do. I think it offers a whole other level of travel that I'm excited to explore. Yay! 🤓

I'm a goofy, polite 27 year old Canadian who loves to travel, meet new friends and explore different unique food from all over the world.

I've recently moved from my home town Toronto Canada to a small town in Shandong, China, called Zibo. Zibo is completely different from where I come from and its definitely one of those places where I'm the process of adjusting to, one changes as a person. That is my favorite part of traveling, the effect of change it has on a person is nearly always for the better.

I love to laugh at my own silly jokes, hike, dance (poorly) sing (also very poorly lol) tell terrible knock knock jokes, finding unique nightlife spots, weird art, weird history, and just weirdness in general 😅

One thing I like about Zibo is that it's much less common or touristy than it's neighboring city Jinan or where I used to live, Xian. When traveling, after checking out the major sites I find that I typically enjoy gravitating towards the Hidden Gems of a city. I'm still trying to figure out what those are in Zibo. if I am hosting you In Toronto expect to be taken to a Speak Easy behind a book shelf, roof top gardens with the best view of the skyline, and over looked historical graffiti alleys. As you can tell I prefer the off the beaten path and believe it tells the best stories. Show me your off the beaten path?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to hear stories. My favorite part of traveling is all the different people I meet along the way and realizing that regardless of what we're told or what prejudices we may have picked up through life we're not very different from each other at all. I'm on Couchsurfer to be inspired. Tell me about your heartbreak or about something you overcame or a story you heard or a poem (or don't tell me anything at all. No pressure. 😉) I love the idea of a Peoples Library but instead of books you can check out People to chat with and learn about.
