Hi! My name is Mae-Ling, most people just call me Mae. My father is Dutch and my mother is Chinese. Most of my life I have lived in the Netherlands in a city called Wageningen (famous for its agricultural University). When I was little I have lived in Vietnam for a couple of years and 3 years in a city close to Shanghai in China. Nowadays I live in Amsterdam, but I have also lived in Delft, because I study Architectural Engineering there, and I have been to Madrid for an exchange. As you can read I like to be and wish to be everywhere. I love art, architecture, sports and food. I like to travel to discover and learn more about other cultures, nature and their daily life, especially the food! I love trying and learning to cook new dishes from any culture :). As a host and guest I am tidy and I do not smoke.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to South Africa with the Dutch national rugby team, and played against the national South african ladies Sevens. Best experience of my life till now.

I am still learning Spanish and Chinese. Next to that I love to cook, so maybe we can cook and share some traditional dishes with each other.
