I'm Maëlle,

22 years old exchange student in National Central University, living now in Zhongli in Taoyuan County in Taiwan. I'll be there for the next 6 months and I'm willing to discover the nature beauties and lovely people of this island.
I'm speaking madarin a bit, enough to travel alone and have some basic conversations. I'm really willing to improve my chinese too by the way and learn some taiwanese expression ;)

My major is Energy engineering and I want to specialize myself in renewable energy. I hope to get my diploma at the end of this scholar year, let's see...

I think that travelling can be about the place... But the place will stay same over years. Only the people with whom you share your travel can change entierly the impression of that place in your mind. Any place can thus become amazing. Sharing a meal, sharing a walk in nature, sharing thoughts, sharing culture, sharing smiles ...
Meeting locals give a deeper understanding of the place itself.

From my past couch surfing experiences, I can say that I'm amazed by the attachment and trust you have on people you've never seen before. This feeling that your family can be as wide as the earth.

I'm often telling to myself that I should focus more and find my passion because... Actually I have plenty of interests.

Travelling is my favorite. I'll never lost this energy that keeps me want to see always more, to discover new areas, new cultures, new faces, new me.

Love to learn language as it is the best way I found to learn about the culure. Love to draw and look deeper, into the things and moods. Love to eat, get the taste of it, the sweet and the sour. Love to dance, to let it go. Love to listen to people and their stories, find a little of myself inside all those stories...
