Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just starting now but I'm really looking forward to the experience. I've joined a couple community groups and I hope that one day when my travels are on hold I'll be able to host people as well. I also go to meet ups when they happen and they are almost always a good time! I've led and traveled with many group and when I was living in Toronto my home was always open to the people I met, but couch surfing is new to me. If we do meet I have plenty to offer my hosts whether it's sharing knowledge or just going out and having fun in your city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm brand new to this! I just started my travels in Israel this year and am trying to learn as much as I can about the people and the country. I thought the best way to accomplish this would be by joining the couch surfing community and begin to grow a community here with the people I meet. I've gone to some surfer meet ups.

Interests

Exploring, reading, dancing, climbing trees, camping, hiking, canoeing, lying on large rocks in the middle of huge lakes that have been warmed by the sun (I'm Canadian). Singing with friends, photography, yoga, dance, cooking & eating delicious food. Gardening, learning new things, meeting new people, seeing new places and finding home wherever I am. There are so many things I'm interested in I don't even know what some of them are yet.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love anything by Wes Anderson but particularly The Life Aquatic, if you've only seen it once you have to give it another try. I also love movies with Bill Murray & Audrey Hepburn. I love movies, books and shows with british humor. The Prophet & Winnie the Pooh are two of my favorite books, both a must read! My music love is all over the place, I love it all but especially live music!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been so lucky to travel to many places of the world and every experience has been amazing. I see amazing things every day, you just have to look and listen.

Teach, Learn, Share

Meditation, Yoga, Cooking, Dance (modern), appreciating little things that go unoticed, great at giving advice when you ask for it. Generally sharing good and happy vibes.
