Hi guys!

I am Maëva, a 28 - soon 29 -y.o French girl, been a Parisian for 5 years now and travelling whenever I can.

I grew up travelling a lot with my family and the best parts of all of my trips have always been the encounters we had... I've kept this travelling philosophy with me since then and that's why I still love to travel and most importantly to meet new people wherever I go.

In my everyday parisian life, I really enjoy spending time with my friends, discovering new music, going to concerts, reading, partying, eating goood foood and also going back to my lovely south west of France whenever I can and get some chill oceanic vibes...

Even though I cannot welcome guests in my tiny parisian apartment right now, I still enjoy meeting new people and giving tips about this city I love so much so do not hesitate contacting me if you want to grab a drink or get some ideas on what to do in Paris!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had great CS experience in Florida ans Brooklyn, NYC, and I've always enjoyed welcoming my friends from all over the world whenever I could. My door has always been open and I grew up knowing how enriching welcoming people home - friends or foreigners - can be.

During my last trips, I mostly went to hostels - most often because it was planned at the last minute - but even though it is always fun to meet people from all over the world, I often missed meeting local people ... that is why I would really like to have CS experiences this summer, sharing a good time with you CS people and discover your place thanks to your wise advice!

About my readings, I am this kind of person who cannot get out of a library without a new book, even though I sometimes read it years later.... I probs should be reading some serious stuff like essays on french and international politics, but who said playing with words was not a serious thing? that's why I always fall back into literature in priority.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lately discovered Berlin where I ate the best burger of my life under a train bridge #foodaddict
Got my mind totaly blown when I had my first sight of Old Jerusalem two years ago and had the funnest night out in Ramallah with some locals...
Definitely couldn't recover from Yosemite's wild landscapes and whale watching in the Monterey Bay in California <3
