About Me

I work as a social worker and live in Salt Lake City! I like to meet new people and travel, as well as dance, read, hike, and cook. I'm a Unitarian Universalist, and love to learn about other people's experiences with spirituality. I believe strongly in human rights, democracy, and community. I'm in love with Aotearoa and hope to live there someday. I'm about to take my third trip there, and cannot wait!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I believe community and human connection are among the most important things in life. I'm trying to live through my values, and hosting on couch surfing is one way to do that. I'm not hosting at the moment because my partner moved in with me and we are navigating how to exist with all our items in a one bedroom apartment. I hope to host again soon, once things are more settled. I also love staying with couchsurfing hosts because it's a fun way to travel and get to know the people of the the place I'm visiting.

Interests

You'll often see me listening to an audiobook, headed out for a walk around my neighborhood, or telling my cat how cute he is.
