PHILOSOPHY
The world will remain a big mystery unless you explore it yourself, so let's all go out there, there are still a lot to see and a lot to learn.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
A friend of mine, Rosalie introduced this website to me, she loves to travel and so do I. I was a bit hesitant at first because it was like your gonna meet or host a total stranger but then again it's just like setting on another adventure, you explore the unknown, take risks and make the most of the experience.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm a Filipino based in Beijing right now. I can't host anyone at the moment because I live in an apartment together with 3 other people. But I can show someone around, I love to roam around the city so I know a couple of good places to eat and hang-out.
I've met one couchsurfer so far and it was a good short meet-up. I never had someone who hosted me so far because I usually stay in hotels/hostels when I travel around China but I would love to try that experience though.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
In one of my recent trips I went to this ancient Chinese village outside Beijing and it was like I've been brought back to the life in China hundreds of years ago. Even though all of the amenities that we enjoy nowadays (electricity and stuff) are already present there, some of the villagers still choose to live the way that their ancestors lived. The amazing thing is that, they are able to preserve their culture and their ancient houses a midst the fast growth and transformation that their neighbor city, Beijing, is experiencing.
