Hi :)

I'm Mafalda, I'm 22 from Portugal. I moved to Denmark at 18 to study Virtual Reality and now after graduating, I will be traveling for some time with my girlfriend, Laura

I finally have the time to travel without an end date. The plan is to go around South and Central America for 6 months. I just started the trip in Ecuador and I will move north from here to Colombia

There are a lot of things I am eager to experience. I really want to learn how to surf and hike where possible. Back in Europe, I tried many things, martial arts, climbing and a lot of activism against inequalities. Now, I want to get lost (not literally!) in the American nature and explore that a lot.

A trip is not complete without getting to know the locals and learning their stories. I love to listen and share perspectives, cultures, ideas, music, ... :)

I love how Couchsurfing creates a place for these interactions and I've learned a lot from both hosting and being hosted!
