About Me

CURRENT MISSION

We are moving to Berlin next month! So no requests from 15th Oct to 15th Nov please. After that we can host you in Berlin.

ABOUT ME

whew,

I am open minded, uncomplicated, easy, calm, all in all a very happy person, critical minded, upright, honest, often a bit abstracted, tolerant, vivid, peaceloving, sometimes harsh in discussions because it keeps me going ;) all in all: you shouldn't have any problems with me. Just don't be dishonest, inconsiderate and inappreciative.
I just demand from others what I demand from myself as well.
Masoud is, as far as what is described above, like me; still he is never abstracted but always very mindful ;)
We like to get to know other people, from every place in the world, and we love to travel and host travelers likewise.
We can talk in German, English and Arabic easily (I only have problems with misri and maghribi dialect), French with time, Spanish the basics.
Farsi is Masoud's mother tongue.
I am interested in classical music, sociological stuff, middle eastern culture, languages, cooking and art.
Masoud is a real film freak, as well as a better cook than me and anyway a thinker.
We are not often going out, but if we do, it will be a concert, a film or sometimes a party.
We have a piano.
We have a guitar.
We have a trampoline (small).
We have an aquarium.
We have no car and no extra bike.
And we have to have guests ! :D

PHILOSOPHY

Live now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are surfing and hosting.
I am totally convinced that meeting people is better than paying hotels or hostels. I wish to contribute to greater hospitality in my home country, which is close to nothing compared to what I experienced for example in Yemen or Jordan.
And I'd like to support the view of seeing strangers not as a threat, but as people who might become your friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Until now, we have only been hosting, and met a bunch of lovely people :)
