Bonjour, je m'appelle Mafer or Fernanda (whatever it gets easier for you, it's the same). Nice to meet you! *insert virtual handshake*
The only things that are essential to know about me are that I'm very laid-back person that loves cold weather, meeting new people, beer/gin and tonic, travel and boxing. I can't stand flies and I'm a smoker (tobacco). I laugh about everything and I tend to joke all the time but relax: I know how to behave and when not to laugh.

In all those things, I'm also an architect. My job is basically arrange all the construction permissions to get the project going and sometimes I do a little bit of construction supervision. I can say I'm quite social and friendly but when I get the chance to know someone for the very first time, I tend to be a little bit shy but once I'm comfortable with you I lose it up, relax and I start to have a proper convo. I truly believe in respect, so if something bothers me, I will tell you (and I do expect the same).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Kings of Leon and The Killers are my favourite bands.
Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Harry Styles, Robbie Williams, all the cheesy/embarrasing 90/early 2000's music, hip hop, 'latin' music, etc.; and forgot to mention that I truly hate bachata!

Movies/tv: I can watch any kind of movie with a good trama and good soundtrack.

Books: I read all kind of books -and I always want more- but I guess I don't have like a specific kind of literature. However, the top 2 that I always recommend is "Tuesdays with Morrie" by Mitch Albom or "La mécanique du coeur" by Mathias Malzieu.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Sky dive in Cairns, Australia.

- First time solo travelling and decided to fly 27,200km AKA 4 stops in 3 continents in a lapse of time of 45 hours plus 3.5 hours in a bus ride just to see someone.

- Saw one of my favourite bands live on first row.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I truly like to get to know the person that I have in front of me, you know: their background, stories, travels, how they grew up, etc; so in change of that I offer fun, friendship, a good convo, funny/interesting dance moves and stories, bad words in guatemalan slang, hugs, smiles and a beer or guatemalan alcohol (obviously).
