I studied archaeology and occasionally I work in that field, although generally I hate working and I try my best to avoid it.

4. 💭 ✍️ I don't appreciate generic requests.

5. 🌱 🌽🫛I am a vegetarian, so please do not put any dead animals in the fridge and/ or in the drawers. I am very strict about this rule. Note that if I find any animal food, I will give it to the stray cats I feed, no questions asked.

6. 🧼🧹Whatever you use (e.g. the dishes), after the use you clean it. I am not your parents to clean after you, therefore respect the co-living situation, as the adult person you are.

7. 🤫🔇Please be quiet. This is a quiet neighbourhood and in the surrounding apartments only local families live. Thus, I expect my guests to respect our neighbours as well.

8. 🍳🫕You are more than welcome to use the ceramic hotplates and the toaster to cook, but please do not use the oven.

9. 🙅👞👟👠 No shoes in the house are allowed, I have a shoe closet to store them before entering the house. Please bring flipflops, if you don't want to walk barefoot indoors.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I've started participating in CS , I've tried to host as many people as I could. I showed them the Greek everyday life and made a few friends in the way, whom -I think- we'll never lost touch.

Besides people in CS are usually open minded and happy people -as I am most of the time lol- so based on this fact, I try to make everyone feel like they're home :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined CouchSurfing during summer 2012 and since then I have hosted more than 100 people. Three years later, I joined Trustroots and BeWelcome, but in the end I did not use them, since I felt that CS covered my demands. Well... until recently when regulations have changed. To me, CS was as intense as a trip abroad (minus the expenses, lol), thus I constantly tried to host people.

The whole experience eventually made me more open-minded and tolerant towards others, while helping me form a huge part of what I am today. That is why the changes on CS led me to choose the platforms of Trustroots and of BeWelcome in hopes of finding an alternative to what I consider Hosting people actually stands for. I just hope my guests enjoy the chanse as much as I do :)

Don't know much about music, whatever's on, probably. In general, a little Pop and Britpop, '80s glam rock- metal- hard rock, Classical music (Mozard, Shostakovitch, Tchaikovsky... Pink Floyd 😋) and maybe some RATATAT, Chet Baker, Marinella (Greek singer), Backstreet Boys (yes, I still like them, kill me 😁😋). When it comes to dancing though, only techno (or preferably teKno 😅).

Books:
All in all, I like fairytales. Good or bad ended fairy tales -doesn't matter. So, let's say Tom Robbins, Kathrine Neville, Nikos Kazantzakis, Lewis Carroll, Jostein Gaarder, J.R.R.Tolkien, Suzanna Clarke. My fave book is 1984 -I thought I should mention my favorite by title :P

The most awesome book I have read in 2023 so far, was Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.
