I am an english teacher formerly working in high schools and universities, now teaching aeronautical english to helicopter pilots and ATC's.
My husband Matthieu is a captain in the mountain troops.

We have lots of kids, too many probably (lol) so it's always very busy in the house and consequently we are not afraid of having a couple more people around!

I am used to travelling and I have spent many years living abroad.
I can say that I am open-minded, outgoing, curious, flexible and easy-going.

Matthieu is more of an introvert, but he gets better with a glass of wine and an interesting conversation.

We are a very active family, always on the move and ready for more aventures!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it's a great way to have a cultural exchange which is what we look for while travelling or hosting.

Walt Whitman ....Anything english or American in general, some french, some German litterature too, but not too keen on contemporary writers.
Matthieu is more into science, atheism and guys like Dawkins, George Carlin which I also enjoy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Minight sun, polar nights and aurora borealis.
Tactical helicopter flight as part of my job.
Lately, skiing the glacier of Mont Blanc and completing the Trolltunga hike in Norway!
