Hello people!

My name is Magalie, I am a french student. I grew up in the south of France (Biarritz-Hossegor area), where I had the chance the learn how to surf and all the cool traditional things from the south of France! I then moved to Costa Rica in 2013 until 2017, I lived with my dad who still lives there, and went to an International High school to complete my last 2 years of high school, this is where I learned english and spanish fluently and then I moved to Canada to study in beginning of 2017.
So.. where am I now? Well, I recently moved back to France due to some health issues, and also a bit lost about studies, I decided to take a year off school, to get to know myself more, travel and maybe do some internships in what I want to study! (Videos, design, communication...)

My passions are: meeting new people, traveling, filming, editing, photography, drawing, arts in general, music. I actually have too many passions so it would be too long to say them all! haha

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Well, first of all, I want to meet people, I never really did a trip all by myself, because I always end up seeing family at my destination.
I just want to meet people from around the world, have fun experiences, random conversations about aliens late at night drinking tea and eating cookies haha

Also, I am planning a trip to Los Angeles for October, I would stay 3 weeks, I am looking for an internship to do there because i truly think it is THE place to be at for video/communication internships! If I don't do an internship, I will most probably go meet professionnels in event filming companies, it's my ultimate dream and I just really feel the need to go and meet professionals, meet and discuss different experiences and paths...
Also, I have always wanted to go in Los Angeles and get to know people from there!

I can also host people when I go back on vacations in Costa Rica or when I am in france, I can show you the best places I know :)

I just really enjoy meeting new people and new cultures, I love hanging out, visiting.
As I said, I love random conversations about anything, and just relaxing, walking around.
I don't do any kind of drugs, I don't really drink either, or just on occasions, or if I drink, I don't over drink and don't particularly enjoy waking up with a hungover so haha
Overall, I love having fun and being happy :)

Moved to Costa Rica from 2013 until 2017.
but I basically "grew up" there because every summer since 2008 until I actually moved there, I used to go for 2 months see my dad, so I really feel like Costa Rica is my second home, if not my primary home since i feel completely home when I am there! :)
