ABOUT ME

The most difficult task appears at the very beginning. I'll try to describe myself as faithfully (and shortly) as possible, though. I belong to a very fun, energetic, easy-going and laid-back community of people known as 'students' :) The students of the University of Warsaw, to be precise. Travelling, getting to know new people, places, cultures and languages - that's what I love the most, especially when I can share that experience with my friends. If you want to become one of them, feel free :)

PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, as I live in a dorm, I'm mostly able to surf and meet couchsurfers, but I also look forward to becoming a real host in the nearest future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I found out about the idea of couchsurfing thanks to my friends. If it hadn't been for CS, I wouldn't have spent such an amazing time during the holidays. So far, so good :)

Interests

Apart from travelling and hanging out with my friends (both mentioned before), I have a vast range of other interests. People are often surprised how diverse they are. Firstly and most importantly, music. My life wouldn't be complete without it. I sing non-stop (which drives my mum crazy at times :P). Secondly, good books, films and TV series. I'm a huge fan of sarcastic and ironic humour :P Thirdly, make-up, since I'm a professional make-up artist. And last but not least, bartending. I enjoy preparing classics and inventing completely new drinks for my friends. I have also many, many other smaller hobbies but I don't want you to become bored with reading. So I'll stop here :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like many types of music starting from rock, through pop, ending with reggae. It all depends on my day and mood. As far as books and films are concerned - there are too many of them that I like. But to list just a few:

- Harry Potter (I still have some kind of sentimental attachment to this saga :P)

Teach, Learn, Share

Being a student of Applied Linguistics, I know English and French quite well, so if you need any help with these two languages, just tell me. And remember, should you need any stylistic advice, give me a sign, too :) In exchange, I would really love to improve my Swedish; I've started it recently and I really enjoy it, but I definitely need more practice :)
