ABOUT ME

I love traveling. I've been to bits of Europe, went on a road trip up the west coast, and I've seen certain random states in the U.S.
I was raised very religious, but have changed quite a bit in the past two years. not religious at all right now. I would say I'm spiritual but in no way religious.
don't know what else to say right now, so I'll leave it at that.

PHILOSOPHY

I am learning to love life as it is, not the way I want it to be. I live to experience life. I want to try and do as much as I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed on my west coast road trip with ben from portland, oregon. he was amazing. ;) and my husband, Andy and I have also couchsurfed for our 2 weeks in London and Amsterdam. everyone was fantastic. ;) thank you all very much.

Interests

I like to play almost any sport...my favorite is basketball. I play the piano. I'd like to learn German fluently. I went skydiving on my honeymoon and it was AMAZING! next, I plan to go bungee jumping. I love to read, almost anything. and of course, I love traveling and I love meeting new people. I'm very interested in Zen and the meaning of life; Taoism and Buddhism play a great part in that. I'm neither really but its a great interest of mine.
I love playing poker.

I love anything with Johnny Depp. most black and white movies with Audrey Hepburn, Cary Grant, or Katharine Hepburn. anything Quentin Tarantino. Monty Python and the Holy Grail. the Virgin Suicides. Junebug. Requiem for a Dream.
I'll listen to any type of music. favorites are Micah P. Hinson, Johnny Cash, David Gray, Regina Spektor, Shiny Toy Guns, Terra Naomi, Flight of the Concords, Kate Nash...
I like to read almost anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

traveled a bit of Europe. most amazing thing I've seen was Tivoli, Italy. tiny but beyond gorgeous. also, the northern coast of California in a tiny town called Klamath, CA.
