My name is Maggie and I´m 23 years old. I come frome a small town called Nordhorn in nothern Germany exacly at the dutch border.
I have a small sister who is 1 1/2 years younger than me and my complete opposit but I love her more than everything in the world.
I have a long distance relationship since 2014 with my boyfriend who lives 4 hours away from me and I can´t wait to explore the world with him.
In my childhood did I travel a lot to Mexico and the US because my mom is mexican and my family is spread around the world.
When I was 15 I went for an exchange year to Hungary and lived there for a year near Budapest. I have learnt a lot about other cultures, tolerance and people.
Thanks to my mom and my grandpa I could travel with them through Europe.
Currently I´m studying Law in Göttingen and I enjoy that a lot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about couchsurfing many years ago and found the idea fantastic to get to know locals and to make friends all over the world. When I heard about it I considered to be to young but now I can´t wait to explore the world.

Interests

I wish to travel the world and I want to see as much as possible from it and see all the beautiful and incredible places it has for us. Especially I´d like to go to Island to enjoy the nature, see the nothern lights and see how the sun doesn´t go down.
In my spare time I like to drive to Hamburg to visit my boyfriend, spend long walks and have fun.
I love to go dancing with my friends and I can spend the whole night having fun with them. Additionaly I have a passion for shoes and I have a lot of them. I like to sleep, although I know, that that way you can miss a lot of things but if you get to know me, you know that my dreams can sometimes be better than reality.
When I need some time apart I draw and there is no better way to calm myself down from an emotional trip that way.
I am not very tidy but I value hygiene and I don´t like dirty places. I take a lot of care of my body without being conceited because I think that it is important in life always to make a good impression.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don´t have a specific music taste. I like everything that is good. What I absolutly don´t like is german music. You can really get me from the dancefloor with that. My boyfriend describes my music taste as music which you listen to when lying in the sun and I think that describes it very good.

I like action movie. Especially superheros. After a stressing day there is nothing better than sitting in front of the TV and watching a movie with a lot of shooting. I also like comedy movies with a good story. I don´t like love movies because I start to cry very fast and I don´t like that.

In my youth I read a lot but unfortunatly I don´t have a lot of time for that anymore. I like fantasy and science fiction and have to admit that I have read the first twilight book in english for at least 10 times. I try to find some spare time and to read a book a month.

Climbing down a 102 meter high waterfall in Mexico at the age of 10.

Living one year in Hungary and learning the forth most difficult languange of the world.

I´m not a very good cook so I like to learn new dishes and of course to learn about other people stories and their traditions.

I´d love to share the experience I have made so far and to share my home country with people who are interested to learn about it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a double sized couch for anybody willing to come to my place. I´d like to make my guests to feel home and of course they can use whatever I have.
