I am an university student from Hong Kong, studying business and currently on exchange in Holland. I am new to couchsurfing but I have some experience on airbnb and they are all good!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

A great way to make friends (better than the cold and dull hotel room). I love how this makes a trip so unexpected because i get to meet so many interesting people. Honestly I only heard about couchsurfing a few months ago from a friend who recommended this. She had met so many friends along her travelling.
So why not give this a try, right? Another reason is that I really love the idea. I don't see this as a "free hostel" because come on, nothing is free! I see this as an exchange because the hosts have to sacrifice their time and offer a space for total strangers. And therefore I will try my best to offer something back, whether it's a nice dinner or being a good guest. Honestly, if you need anything in return, just name it and I'll see if I have it/ can do it.

It's really to list them all here, so here's a few.
Guitar: I learnt by Youtube videos a few years ago (cause i hate taking lessons :P) and I can play a few songs while singing. Don't expect too much tho haha

Ballet: since I was very little, like 5 years old. but I have stopped learning 3 years ago, which it's a pity actually. so recently I am thinking about returning.

Movies: I am a movie lover. I like almost every movie except one - Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. I mean, Natalie Portman is a good actress but I really can't understand this movie..

Beer: beer is not the exact word actually as I enjoy beer with FRIENDS more. Just hanging out with others and having chats. (but, after all, who doesn't enjoy that)

Animals/ dogs: it's not really an interest but I love animals, especially dogs. One of my life goals is to rescue animals from abuse and spread the message that we should respect all lives.
