About Me

(I apologize for sending such long messages. I just heard from an ambassador that it's bad etiquette and I should stick to 2 paragraphs total! I am overexcited!)

I am a teacher from Ohio, occupied Turtle Island, and live in a beautiful home in a small city.
I look forward to hosting couch surfers one day but for now (October 2024) I am looking to meet friends around Ireland to prepare for my travels.
I am arriving Wednesday Oct 9th morning in Dublin and I have a rental car for my 6 day trip. I leave from Dublin on Tuesday the 15th at 9:30 am.
My priority is seeing as much of Ireland's countryside and forests as possible. I also plan to spend a day or 2 in Cork.
My wildest dreams will be fulfilled if you will spend time with me, show me around, and allow me a place to sleep and a shower to use! In exchange I offer brilliant conversation :-) I will cook for you and do the dishes. I will give you a spiritual cleansing and also read your tarot cards.
If you can't host me but you see my message, feel free to provide me with recommendations for the countryside. This is just the first week I'm spending in Ireland but will hopefully spend much more time here in the future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe in humanity and know that connecting with others is medicine. I want to make lifelong connections with people during my travels. I believe if we are meant to find each other, we will, but that we have to give Spirit opportunities to guide us together.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and love to start my mornings with high-vibe healing music. By the mid-afternoon I'll be enjoying my Bollywood playlist and then cooking dinner with some Mexican music like Natalia Lafourcade y Los Macorinos. I love jazz music especially Miles Davis and Billie Holiday.

I am a big reader and would love to hear about your favorite books. I can't resist a good sci-fi with a strong woman protagonist like the books of Octavia Butler and Nalo Hopkinson.

I love reading non-fiction about history and know quite a bit of the history of Turtle Island (North America). I love reading books about spirituality. I love writing as well, I journal, record my dreams, and practice "morning pages" according to the Art of Creativity book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've said NO loudly and clearly. I have listened to myself and followed my intuition.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach your some background about the colonization process in North America and the history of the USA that explains... why we are like we are...

I can cook many soups, Mexican dishes, casseroles, and can also chop and follow recipes from your culture.

I would love to hear your favorite music, dance with you, share your language, or just enjoy a glass of water while watching Youtube videos of people snorkeling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a healer-in-training and I study Mesoamerican limpias/cleansings, Celtic soul healing, tarot, and divination with ogham. I will be happy to pray for you, bless your space, cleanse your energy, or divine your future using my cards.
