Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have heard of a lot of different experiences on CS and I would like to experience some of them myself. One of my very good friends in Vancouver hosts a lot of people and I have seen that these CS'ers get to see the city from a local perspective. I would like to travel and get to see the local perspective of cities around the world!

Couchsurfing seems like a beautiful thing. You travel across the world and no matter where you go, you have a community waiting for you there :-)

Came in the top three at the 2014 International Makeup Artistry Show, in Toronto, for the special effects category.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to travel more and see how other people live. I have lived in my own corner of the world for a long time and would like to get out there to learn and see the similarities between us all. When you spend so long in one place it becomes hard to see the peculiarities of where you are from but when you travel you get to look back on your own corner of the world with a different eye.
