Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've never hosted before, but when I no longer have roommates, I sure plan on it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with a few lovely people in Seattle and Mexico, but pretty new to this!

Interests

Biking, hiking, planning trips, collecting quotes, eating hummus and drinking tea, reading in parks, drinking margaritas, getting lost in internet articles, just generally getting lost, and recording dreams.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The coolest festival I've ever been to was in Alcoy, Spain for the Muslim and Christian festival in the spring of 2010. The most musical, least politically correct, fanciest, most bizarre place I've ever been to. Google Image "Moros y Cristianos, Alcoy Spain" . Colorful and odd: my favorite combination.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about the European Court of Human Rights, about women in the drug economy, how planting trees and poverty alleviation are related, the innovation economy and social enterpreneurship. Spanish. About Dominican culture, I can make you drool when I describe the food I´m eating in Mexico.

But if you want to learn practical things, I'm probably not your best bet.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A LOT about Social Entrepreneurship. It's kind of my thing.
