My friends would say I'm a smart, well-traveled, easy going person with some interesting stories. I also have tour guide / tour manager license(in English and Mandarin). Love to try something new.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friends are the hosts of couchsurfing and make lots of friends. I also had some great experience being hosted. Since I usually travel alone, I think it's a good way to meet locals and make my trip more different.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. I've been to Christmas Island to see red crab migration. Millions of crabs everywhere on the island really amazed me. I even woke up at midnight to see female crabs egging at the beach.

2. I've played violin at El Floridita in Havana, Cuba. There was a small trio playing in the restaurant. I asked the violinist if I could play his violin and he said yes. I tuned a bit then started to play "Por Una Cabeza". Few sections later, the accordion and the bass joined me. We had a wonderful play and really enjoyed it. Of course, all the customers gave us a round of applause!
