About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Getting to know some nomadic spirits!

ABOUT ME

I'm a big nerd and love to travel, but hate following the 'must-sees' laid out by franchises like Lonely Planet. The little hidden gems, and most importantly the people I meet on the way, are what make travel worthwhile. I just finished up a stint in Perth, Australia fundraising for an environmental charity called Bush Heritage, and am now doing the grand tour of SE asia, NZ and finishing with the Gold Coast!

When I get home to Edmonton, I'm finishing up my last semester at the University of Alberta, and running a fundraising program that operates around the city. I'm a big nerdy kid on the inside, and am just looking to have some great adventures meet some new people!

PHILOSOPHY

Embrace the total nerd in yourself - life is far too short to be cool.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am an avid surfer and my own travel experiences are so enhanced by the people who I have surfed with that I want to give back as well! I'm a big believer in art parties, dinner parties, dance parties and jam sessions on my balcony, Nights out and Nights in in equal parts!

I love a good glass of wine, an amazing concert, great books, I'm a film nerd!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've informally hosted couchsurfers from around the country who find me through work or mutual friends. Met some amazing people and made some great memories! Now it's time to get on the grid with the CS community.

Interests

Art in all manifestations, Comic Books, cycling, international development, video games, beers with friends, midnight walks around the city, live music, and obviously TRAVEL.
