Overview
About Me
I'm footloose, after 13 years in Haines Alaska in relationship. I have a deep tap root on the farm where I grew up, Central Wisconsin paradise. I spent Winter 2014 studying at Optimum Health Institute in Austin TX, and this winter volunteering at Tree of Life center in Patagonia AZ. I love to travel, encounter new faces and places, and learn everything.
I've been a Vipassana meditator for 12 years, eat a high raw vegan diet, don't use alcohol , love music, books, dogs, knitting and spinning, wild harvesting and mother nature.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
What a wonderful way to do my favorite things. I get to meet other adventurous souls and make new friends. I hope when I'm home on the farm to host folks also, paying it all forward.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love singer/songwriter stuff. I can't narrow anything down to one favorite in any genre, just the act of creating is a joy, and sharing experience is genuine connection.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Dog sled on a glacier? Maybe cut hair on a glacier. Which is more amazing?
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach knitting classes. I also teach Raw Vegan food prep, sprouting, wild harvesting. I face paint and do festival hair. I love decorating people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My amazing hairdressing skills. Stories of water fasting and detox hell. Alaskan stories.
